DMCA Policy
Teeaction operates an online platform that empowers users to design and sell custom merchandise, including T-shirts, rugs, cups, tumblers, and more. We strictly prohibit our users from creating or selling items that violate the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrights, trademarks, and related rights. If you believe your intellectual property has been infringed by a Teeaction user, please follow the steps below to report it.
- Reporting Intellectual Property Infringement
Teeaction is committed to addressing infringement claims promptly. Our policy is to:
- Remove or disable access to content we believe in good faith infringes third-party rights upon receiving a valid notice.
- Terminate accounts of repeat infringers.
To report infringement, please send a notice to our Designated Agent with the following details:
- Identification of the copyrighted work or intellectual property you claim has been infringed, including registration number(s) if applicable.
- Identification of the content you believe infringes your rights, including:
- A description of how it violates your intellectual property.
- Its specific location on Teeaction.com (e.g., URL or product details) so we can locate it.
- Your contact information: full name, mailing address, phone number, and email.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is unauthorized by the rights holder, their agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Action Following a Valid Notice
Upon receiving a proper infringement notice, Teeaction will:
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.
- Notify the user responsible for the content.
- Terminate access for repeat offenders and remove their content from the platform.
- Submitting a Counter-Notice
If a user believes their content was removed in error or they have the right to use it (e.g., via permission or fair use), they may submit a counter-notice to our Designated Agent with:
- Identification of the removed or disabled content and its prior location on Teeaction.com.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the removal resulted from a mistake or misidentification.
- Their contact information: full name, mailing address, phone number, and email.
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the Federal Court in the district where they reside (or where Teeaction is located if outside the U.S.), and agreeing to accept service of process from the original complainant.
- Their physical or electronic signature.
If a counter-notice is received, Teeaction may:
- Forward it to the original complainant.
- Restore the content within 10-14 business days unless the rights holder files a court action against the user.
Important Note
Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, knowingly misrepresenting that content is infringing may result in liability for damages, including attorney’s fees.
